The rocky terrain of the vineyards that produce this wine in Empordà, (Northeast Spain along the Mediterranean coast,) is the perfect place to grow Garnatxa blanca (aka White grenache), and this single varietal wine shows all the freshness of this grape. This wine is fresh, zippy, minerally, and endlessly drinkable with a perfumed floral nose, and a satisfying dry finish. A perfect pairing with fresh Spanish cheeses, seafood stews scented with saffron, and peppery arugula-laced summer salads, this wine is equally enjoyable with or without food.
