Pig Pickin’ 918 F Street
Summertime’s almost here, and we’ve got a deal that puts the easy in easy pickin’ — pig pickin’, that is.
Pay $45 for a delicious down-home afternoon at LivingSocial 918 F Street, Washington, DC on June 9. Buy now! Limited time offer.
On the menu: an all-you-can-eat meal of pork and all the beer you can drink, as well as slaw from DC’s own Wagshal’s.
Best deal: Family owned since 1925, this Spring Valley purveyor of fine foods will have an entire locally raised, roasted pig on hand from which you can request just about any cut — from the crackling skin to the tender pulled pork — and learn about the part of the porker you’re enjoying. And — since nothing pairs with pork quite like frosty cold one — we’ve got you covered with as many brews as you need to quench your thirst, as well as a live bluegrass band to really put you in a country mood. Plus, after about 90 minutes, or once you’ve had your fill of pork, you can head down to the bar for a dessert of individual key lime pies. After a meal as delectably briny as this, we recommend enjoying at least one — after all, we did promise easy pickin’s.
What you get for $45:
- request just about any cut of a freshly roasted pig — from the crackling skin to the tender pulled pork
- delicious coleslaw
- as many brews as you need to quench your thirst
- a live bluegrass band
- a dessert of individual key lime pies
ONLY VALID ON EVENT DATE {June 9}
